Day 3 - Lake Atitlan - Antigua

Day 5 - Lake Atitlan - Guatemala City
Boat trip to the indigenous villages of Santa Catarina, San Antonio Palopo and Santiago de Atitlan. Transfer to Guatemala City for the night.

Early in the morning flight to Flores and transfer to Tikal for the visit of the site. In the afternoon return to Guatemala City for the night.

Day 14 - La Candelaria - Guatemala City
Visit of the "cueva del venado" and meet with the mayan Queck'chi community of Mucbilha after a trip in the galleries of the cave. Transfer to Guatemala City.

Day 15 - Guatemala City - Your country
Transfer from the hotel to the airport to catch your flight back home.

Day 1 - Your country - Guatemala City
Reception at the airport, transfer to the hotel selected in Guatemala city

Day 2 -Guatemala City - Lake Atitlan
City tour then transfer to the "most beautiful lake of the world. Visit of the ruins of Iximche on the way. Night in Panajachel.

Day 3 - Lake Atitlan
Boat trip to visit the indigenous villages of Santa Catarina, San Antonio Palopo and Santiago Atitlan. Night in Panajachel.

Day 4 - Lake Atitlan - Quetzaltenango
Morning free in Panajachel. In the afternoon transfer to Quetzaltenango to spend the night.

Day 5 - Quetzaltenango - San Francisco el Alto - Huehuetenango
Visit the baroque church of San Andres Xecul and the villages of Zunil, Almolonga and San Francisco el Alto. Night in Huehuetenango.

Day 6 - Huehuetenango - Todos Santos - Chichicastenango
Visit one of the most authentic markets of Guatemala, with the wonderful landscape of the Cuchumatanes and a road that will take you over 3000m. In the afternoon transfer to Chichicastenango.

Day 7 - Chichicastenango - Guatemala City
Transfer to Chichicastenango for the visit of the biggest and most colorful market of Central America as well as the Santo Tomas church where you will witness the syncretism of the Catholic and the Mayan religion. Visit of Pascual Abaj, a Mayan ceremonial altar. In the afternoon transfer to Guatemala City.

Day 8 - Guatemala City - Copan (Honduras)
Early in the morning transfer to Copan in Honduras to visit the archaeological site which possesses very beautiful stelae as well as its very well documented museum. Night in Copan.

Day 9 - Copan - Quirigua - Puerto Barrios - Livingston
Transfer to Puerto Barrios. On the way visit Quirigua, a site where the tallest stelae from the Mayan world were found. From Puerto Barrios boat transfer to Livingston, Garifuna village, to spend the night.

Day 10 - Livingston - Rio Dulce
Boat tour on the Rio Dulce to visit the canyon of rio Dulce, the sulfuric water, the bird island and the castle of San Felipe. Night in Rio Dulce.

Day 11 - Rio Dulce - Poptun - Yaxha
Transfer to Yaxha. On the way you will visit a garden of medicinal plants. Night in a lodge in the middle of the jungle. Possibility to see a beautiful sunset from one of the pyramids.

Day 12 - Yaxha - Flores
Visit the ruins of Yaxha and Topoxte, located on a small island on the lake Yaxha. After the visit transfer to Flores to spend the night on the shore of the lake Peten Itza.

Day 13 - Flores - Tikal - Flores
Transfer to Tikal to visit one of the biggest sites of the Mayan world. In the afternoon transfer back to Flores.

Day 14 - Flores - Sayaxhe - La Candelaria
Transfer to La Candelaria to see the "sacred river of the Mayas". Accommodation in a beautiful lodge next to the cave of the Candelaria where the subterranean river goes through. Visit of the "cueva del mico".

Day 15 - La Candelaria - Semuc Champey - Coban
Transfer to Semuc Champey to visit the beautiful natural park with its crystal clear waters. Then transfer to Coban to spend the night.

Day 16 - Coban - Antigua
Early in the morning trek in the Biotopo Del Quetzal to try to observe the mythical bird of the Mayas, the Quetzal. Then transfer to Antigua for the night.

Day 17 - Antigua
Visit of the colonial town: the central park, the churches of San Francisco and La Merced, the convent of Las Capuchinas, the handicraft market and the indigenous village of San Antonio Aguas Calientes.

Day 18 - Antigua - Your country
Transfer to the airport for your flight back.

Day 19 - Arrival
