THE CUCHUMATANES
This mountain has its highest point at 3800m and amazing landscape. We organize horseback riding tours where you will cross part of the area to go to Todos Santos.
ATITLAN LAKE
One of the jewels of Guatemala. Alexander von Humboldt describes it as "the most beautiful lake of the world", the writer Aldous Huxley wrote "any person was contaminated and was delirious with this landscape so precious". Here the locals modestly describe it as one of the works of the supreme teacher. Some long walks or ascension of volcanoes of San Pedro, Atitlan, or Toliman can be organized.
PANAJACHEL
It's the best organized village around the lake, it looks like a resort. Very good hotels and numerous handicraft shops.
COBAN
Capital of the Verapaces, the other large mountainous area, it's the stopping place for excursion to Semuc Champey as well as the place where orchids grow in their natural
environment. It is also the town where the election of the queen of the indigenous, Rabina Ajau, is held. Not too far is the biotope of the Quetzal, the bird of the Mayan, symbol of Guatemala.
SEMUC CHAMPEY
A beauty of nature! A succession of natural pools with crystalline water "supplied" by different springs, underneath is Rio Cahabon.

FUENTES GEORGINAS
Thermal water spring in the area of Quetzaltenango.
RIO DULCE
Quiet river connecting lake Izabal and the Caribbean sea. This is a protected area. The river has to be crossed slowly, like the
rhythm of the place. You'll discover many marinas with wonderful sailing boats, the bird island with numerous species. Take a swim in the sulfurous water of the canyon of rio Dulce and enjoy the peacefulness of this magic place before heading for Livingston, town of the Garifunas, which you can only access by boat.
LA CANDELARIA
Heart of the Guatemalan ecotourism. The cave preserves a huge amount of underground rivers which form the Mayan sacred river. The lodge is situated in a beautiful exotic park at the entrance of the cave.
LANKIN
Another cave, not far from Semuc Champey, with more than 100 galleries. The first 400m are lit to give you an idea of the place. At sunset it's possible to go watch the thousands of bats coming out of the cave for their nocturnal hunt.
